BarkleyREI is seeking a multi-talented Interactive Account Director to contribute to its goal of superior client service through a complete understanding of the interactive space and its endless capabilities.
The Account Director is the primary contact and ultimate point of accountability with BarkleyREI’s clients. This person will work closely with clients to identify their specific marketing needs and business objectives, and then helps identify the appropriate services that help achieve the client's goals. Although the primary responsibilities are interfacing with senior client management, building client relationships, and developing strategy, the Account Director is also responsible for coordinating media campaigns, more complex data monitoring and analysis, creative analysis, and all other client related activities.

Responsibilities:
- Manages client relationship (generally 3-5 clients), account strategy/direction, marketing efforts and a client level P&L
- Orchestrates cross functional team of 4-6 people to achieve strong client results
- Marketing expert across multiple online media; capable of becoming industry expert in client business
- Accountable for integrated client results across all relevant products/services
- Works with client to uncover business needs and objectives
- Crafts appropriate strategies and identifies/implements tactics to help achieve client objectives
- Coordinates delivery of multiple products/services to client
- Creates and interprets basic analysis; identifies opportunities for more advanced analysis
- Manages process effectively and profitably
- Seeks to make contributions beyond basic job requirements (e.g. account growth, new business, thought leadership/industry perspectives, speaking engagements, recruiting).

Qualifications:
- 5 years of related interactive agency client management experience
- 3+ years demonstrated track record of developing senior level client relationships -client references a strong positive
- Proven experience in managing teams of 4+ people and in working cross functionally across an organization
- Strong knowledge or experience in marketing and advertising, with particular emphasis on interactive design/development and online marketing
- Specific industry (e.g. tourism, cause marketing, retail/CPG) marketing expertise a plus
