Barkley is seeking an Account Director for the Sonic field team. You will be responsible for multi-media marketing plans to increase brand awareness and drive sales. You’ll also work closely with Barkley’s Sonic media team and any sponsorship or community tie-ins for each co-op in the region.  


Skills:

  • Someone who understands the principles of project management and is a logic-driven thinker that can demonstrate an understanding of data evaluation including consumer, financial, competitive activity, industry trend and local market influences
  • Must possess effective time and resource management skills and an ability to focus on high-priority activities
  • An innovator and creator who can translate original ideas into workable solutions and has the ability to see existing problems in new ways
  • Someone who easily builds and maintains professional client relationships and is as comfortable presenting across a dinner table as you are in a conference room

This position works out of home and will be responsible for keeping teammates appraised of updates and / or developments in assigned territories. Some travel to co-op meetings and market visits is required.


Requirements:

  • Ability to work independently out of home and keep teammates appraised of updates and/or developments in assigned territories
  • Very strong and effective communications skills
  • Major QSR/restaurant or retail brand experience and field marketing or franchisee relations an added bonus
