(Pittsburgh, Pa.) –BarkleyREI, a leading full-service interactive marketing firm specializing in travel and tourism, consumer brands, higher education and nonprofit industries announced today the promotion of Shane Pryal to Managing Director. In his new role, Pryal will be responsible for shaping the vision and strategy, client relationships and new business for the agency, as well as providing leadership and support to the entire BarkleyREI staff.

Since joining BarkleyREI, formerly Ripple Effects Interactive, in 2001, Pryal has held avariety of positions within the agency. Working his way up from an account supervisor role, Pryal assumed the role of new business development director in 2004 and led the agency’s business development efforts across both the Pittsburgh, PA and Philadelphia offices.
Prior to joining BarkleyREI, Pryal was a management consultant for First Consulting Group, then one of the nation’s leading publicly traded healthcare information technology consulting firms. Pryal holds a finance degree from the University of Pittsburgh.
