TEDxCrossroads Hosted Weekly at Barkley

A new permutation of the TEDx experience has come to Kansas City.

Every Tuesday evening from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., Barkley plays host to TEDxCrossroads in the Galaxy training room. The format is simple: watch one 20-minute talk, then circle the chairs and have a 40-minute salon-style conversation.

Organizers Chel O’Reilly and Don McKinney relocated from New York to Kansas City earlier this year and brought their variety of TEDx with them. They’ve been going through years of the best TED talks to select topics that are interesting, thought-provoking and fertile fodder for discussion.

TEDxCrossroads is free and open to the public, but it’s important to RSVP to Chel at before each week’s event.

For more information, follow @TEDxCrossroads on Twitter and/or like their page on Facebook.
